Minnesota Horse Council Mission Statement
The Minnesota Horse Council, a Minnesota not-for-profit Corporation, was founded in 1935 to provide a vehicle for horse owners and exhibitors to coordinate horse activities with the Minnesota State Fair Board. From this humble beginning the Minnesota Horse Council has evolved to be an umbrella organization uniting and supporting all statewide equine activities. The Minnesota Horse Council shall encourage and support equine related activities, concerns and education. 		Minnesota Expo

    Sources for Hay

    Due to the drought last summer, some horse owners have reported shortages of hay. Here are a couple of online sites that may help with finding sources for hay:    USDA HayNet site.    PoloCenter Hay Directory site.
    2009 Minnesota Horse Expo

    Expo is coming! Work is well underway on the Expo for 2009. Save the dates of April 24-26, 2009 to see the biggest collection of horse breeds, horse equipment, tack swap, equestrian clothing, speakers & demos, and everything connected with horses. For more information, see
